Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ScoreCard ("the App") helps you track scores for games and events on your device. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

• Game Data: The App stores your player names, game data, and preferences locally on your device and optionally in iCloud (for users with iCloud Sync enabled).
• We do not collect or transmit your game data to our servers.
• We may receive aggregated, anonymized metrics from Apple's App Analytics.

3. iCloud Sync (Optional Feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your game and player data are stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage to sync across your Apple devices. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You may disable iCloud Sync at any time in the App's settings.

4. Advertising

The App displays advertising via Google AdMob for non-Premium users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage information to show ads and measure performance. See Google's privacy policies for what is collected and how it's used, and how to manage ad personalization settings. You can remove ads by purchasing Premium in the App.

5. In-App Purchases and Payments

In-App Purchases (including Premium) are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card information. For more information, refer to Apple's privacy and security policies.

6. Email Support

If you contact us via email (support@justinheintz.me), we will receive your email address and any information you include. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and provide support.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Data Retention

Your game data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled). We retain support emails and related correspondence only as long as necessary to provide support, after which they may be deleted or archived securely.

9. Your Choices

• iCloud Sync: Enable or disable iCloud Sync in the App's settings.
• Advertising preferences: Manage ad personalization in your device settings and Google ad settings. Purchasing Premium removes in-app ads.
• Email data: Request deletion of personal information you shared via support email by contacting us at support@justinheintz.me.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information you communicate to us (such as via email). Your local and iCloud data are protected by Apple's security measures.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
